Everyone knows how each of us feels when we have someone to rely on. A person you trust could be your family, a friend, a soul mate and we can never forget almighty God. At the end of a long day we would all have a moment to thank that someone for being there for that occasional smile, that “what the funk” moment, that let me cry on your shoulder hissy fit and lets not forget the one that always gets me … is “can you believe that” moment.
Here’s a toast to all my friends, family, and those yet to be blog writing ideals with Words of What if!

So much can happen in 40 days and 40 nights. People fall in love, people fall out of love, friendships can be made and broken in that amount of time. When I think of 40 days and 40 nights the 2002 movie comes to mind as well with a young man trying to remain celibate for that amount of time until the woman of his dreams comes along. Or even the 2012 movie of a modern day “ark” being built to preserve life on earth because of a colossal rise in sea level due to a tectonic shift. However, none of those two things are “real life” to me. Having that person, (be it friend, loved one, family) in your life to lean on is so important in the world we live in today. A shoulder to cry on. Come on guys, you know real men cry too. To have that person with an ear to hear you and a heart to listen to you. Those are things we all need to make it every day, not just 40 days and nights. Some of us are fortunate to find that person, some of us spend a lot more than 40 days and nights looking. It may take a life time to find them, but keep in mind our Almighty God is always there for you. He has what you need, want, and desire. And if his plan is to put that physical person in your life to be there for you whenever you need, you better believe they will be there longer then 40 days and nights. It will be for a lifetime….
